SW Region Signing Up to SWAS Commitment

SWAS Logo

FFSW are pleased to be in the final stages of signing off on its alliance to the SW Academy of Sport Football Program.

After much discussion and assistance from SWAS CEO, Bernice Butlion, FFSW will join with Football West in ensuring the success of football’s first Regional Academy Program of its kind.

The SW Region’s elite players have been benefiting from the program for the past 12 months under the guidance of SW RDO, Perry Krackowczyk, and with the new agreement FFSW will form part of the Joint Management Committee.  FFSW’s Regional Administration Manager, Amanda Hawkins will be adding some administrative assistance to the program with final details of the Head Coach position due to be released shortly.

Once the new Sports Agreement has been signed, Football West in conjunction with the Head Coach will finalise the Annual Sports Plan and we eagerly await the programs progress in due course.

SW Academy of Sport funding partners provide our elite athletes the opportunity to access programs and services usually only offered to those attending “Institute of Sport” level programs, thus allowing our young regional athletes not only the benefits the program has to offe,r but with the continued support from their home environment.

The FFSW looks forward to a successful program for 2010 and a continued improvement in processes into the future.
